We try to make our pricing policy as simple as possible and as transparent as we can therefore we have included our prices for standard services below. These prices are inclusive and the warranty on the surgery is stated within the description

Some patients are not suitable for certain procedures such as those who have the following underlying medical conditions:

• sleep apnoea
• uncontrolled atrial fibrillation
• unstable angina
• unstable hypertension
• uncontrolled diabetes
• valvular heart disease eg aortic stenosis
• home oxygen therapy
• wheelchair bound
• heart attack or stroke within last 6 months

Patients with other medical conditions are not automatically excluded, and will have an assessment by our consultants, anaesthetists and pre-operative nurses to confirm that it is appropriate for them to have their procedure.

A small number of patients, approximately 3-4%, may experience problems 2-3 years after gastric band surgery, primarily ‘band erosion’ or ‘pouch dilatation’. These problems can sometimes be managed medically, but can occasionally involve revision surgery to resolve the problem. It is important that this fact is considered before you embark on surgery.
